Shahid Kapoor’s Kabir Singh to get a Solo Release – actor Praises Kangana & Rajkummar
Shahid Kapoor is gearing up for the next film Kabir Singh and it was reported to be released with the film – Mental Hai Kya starring Kangana Ranaut-Rajkummar Rao on 26th July. However, the film was earlier clashing with Hrithik Roshan starrer film – Super 30. But later the Bang Bang actor pushed the release date, and interestingly, the makers of Mental Hai Kya also pushed the date to avoid the clash. This gave the free hand to the Shahid Kapoor starrer film Kabir Singh.
Now, the actor of the film Shahid Kapoor gets a solo release for Kabir Singh starring on 26th July. Now, Mental Hai Kya is releasing on 21st June as Ekta Kapoor the maker of the film wanted to avoid any kind of clash at that time. This has therefore given a solo release to Kabir Singh. This made the actor Shahid Kapoor happy and he was seen talking about his film and this venture. He said that both Rajkummar Rao and Kangana Ranaut happen to be fantastic actors and that he is pleased to get a solo release on 26th July.
The film Kabir Singh has Shahid Kapoor in the lead role playing a surgeon who is an addict of drugs, while Kiara Advani happens to be the leading lady of the film. The trailer of the film has been released and it happens to be the remake of 2017 Telugu film called Arjun Reddy. The film has loads of foul language and drug/alcohol abuse. It has got a U/A certificate. The actor has earlier said that he had to smoke a lot in the film, which went against his health ethics but as he is known to enter into the skin of the character, he had to do that.
