Shah Rukh Khan seems to be trouble when we talk about the way the film has performed in the past few years. The films featuring SRK including Fan, Jab Harry Met Sejal, and the recently released movie Zero. None of these films has entered into the 100 crores club. This has made Shah Rukh Khan conscious about the choice of the film. Shah Rukh Khan now does want to take chance hence he has opted out from the biopic film made on Rakesh Sharma called Saare Jahan Se Accha produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur. Then we heard that SRK opting Don 3.
Earlier we heard that Shah Rukh Khan had a talk with Farhan Akhtar asking him to start the film Don 3 once he completes Saare Jahaan Se Accha. However, sources close to the Don franchise claimed that Farhan Akhtar has no script for the third instalment, hence the film Don 3 is out of the question. Also, Farhan Akhtar is gearing up for his film where he is playing the character of a boxer. The sources also claim that the makers are yet to crack the plot. The sources also are surprised as to how and where did the news for the film Don 3 had come out to the media as these remain bogus.
The Shah Rukh Khan team said it made sense from SRK to announce the exit from the biopic based on the life of Rakesh Sharma. The team said there is no point in discussing about something which really does not exist. Farhan as per reports is in no mood to make a film as a director as he is more focus on the career of acting. So, he has no plans to make the third franchise. He has now become the part of the sports drama film called Toofan and it is directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra. This will, therefore, make him busy for the next one year. So, directing any film like Don 3 is certainly not in his mind. So, for SRK it is no more Don 3.
