Vijay Deverakonda reacts when asked what will he do if Liger failed at box office

Vijay Deverakonda is preparing to make his Bollywood debut with the release of his much awaited film Liger. Fans are excited about the film since it depicts him in a never seen before avatar. In a recent interview, the actor discussed the film’s box office prospects, stating that he will not “respond angrily” if the Telugu-Hindi bilingual underperforms. Puri Jagannadh’s Liger is a sports drama written and directed by him.

Vijay Deverakonda, who was last seen in the commercially failed World Famous Lover, is set to make a comeback with Liger. The film has already become a hit in Telugu states, with excellent advance bookings. Vijay responded to a query on Liger’s box office fate in a recent interview. He stated that he will not ‘react angrily to such small things’. The actor went on to thank his fans for their support while he marketed Liger.

“Had you asked me this question a few years back, I would have replied with anger. I would have been so angry. However, with the kind of love that I have received in the last few days, it would be a disrespect to that if I react angrily to such small things around. I want to remember the love. The audience is important, we work for them, and we travel cities just to meet them and we want to win their love. (sic)” he said during an interview with the media.

Liger is a sports drama starring Vijay Deverakonda as an underdog with a speech problem. Ananya Panday will make her Tollywood debut with the film, following her appearance in the film Gehraiyaan. Liger also stars Ramya Krishnan, Ronit Roy, and Makrand Deshpande in prominent roles. Mike Tyson, the legendary boxer, will make a cameo appearance in the film. Liger is set to hit theatres on August 25.
