Come the days like Republic Day, and we see the nation celebrating the big day and Bollywood becomes not an exception for sure. Its been seventy years to see the country becoming Republic. This very same day the constitution of India was made to force replacing the colonial rule of the British people. This very day the country has become a sovereign, democratic republic, socialist, and secular. The day encourages the country to strengthen these values, and B Town also stands for the same remaining strong and firm emerging as the most secular place in the country away from communal feelings and hatred that has gone rampant in the past few years.
Unfortunately, the industry has been targeted by a fringe group to shut down movies that they make at the different point of time celebrating freedom of expression and speech along with democracy and values. So, on this big day, we saw the B Town actors and actresses taking time to be there at the microblogging site. These include Kriti Sanon, Sunny Deol, Ajay Devgn, John Abraham (shared photo with tricolor), Rishi Kapoor, Kiara Advani, R Madhavan, Vicky Kaushal (again with Tri color), Kapil Sharma, Swara Bhaskar, and many more joined this juncture to wish everyone.
Many chose to be on the microblogging site called Twitter to share their compliments and wishes while others were seen sharing their photos at Instagram to greet people and their fans as well. On this big way, we at CineTalkers would like to pay a tribute to all the heroes and people who have given the lives to their nation. The parade carried out on Republic Day in the National Capital happens to be a tribute and salute to all the three serving armed forces – Indian Army, The Indian Navy and Indian Air Force.
