Actress Bhakti Rathod plays a male character in the serial ‘Bhakarwadi’. According to the storyline of the show, Urmila aka Bhakti is seen in the get-up of Anna (Deven Bhojani). During a conversation with a news portal, Bhakti shared a few things about the show and her new get-up.
In the story that is going on right now, Urmila is on a mission to join Abhishek and Gayatri and for this she brings many ideas. As the track progresses, an idea by Urmila is going to be overshadowed by that. To get out of this situation and change Anna’s decision, Urmila and all the others plan to bring Anna’s tau. Tau is the only person who can convince Anna for anything. Everybody is thinking about how to bring Tau here or what must have happened to him and whether he is alive or not. In her own style, Urmila decides to take things into her own hands and takes the form of Tau herself.
On asking about the character of Anna, she says, I have always loved Anna’s character. I secretly watch Deven Bhai perform because he has the best preparations like the rest of the cast of Hates off Productions. I consider him my ideal as a senior artist and as an artist, director, he has done some amazing work. At times, he himself sketches the characters. Therefore, whenever I get a chance, I try to learn from him and I have done the same thing for the character of Tau. Many times it happens that I sit with him and ask him about some specific Marathi word or how they take some nuances of some characters.
