Dunki: Shah Rukh Khan announces the title of his next film director Rajkumar Hirani
The King of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan has finally announced his upcoming movie where he will be collaborating with Rajkumar Hirani. The name of the movie is Dunki. The title of the film is Dunki which will be released in next Christmas. The actor shared it on his Twitter account.
Announcing the upcoming movie on Tuesday, SRK wrote, Dear @RajkumarHirani sir, Aap toh Mere Santa Claus nikle. Aap shuru karo main time pe pahunch jaunga. actually main toh set par hi rehne lagunga. Feeling humbled & excited to finally work with you.Bringing to you all #Dunki in cinemas on 22nd December 2023.
An announcement video has also been shared with this. In the clip, SRK can be seen looking at the posters of Rajkumar’s film, asking if the filmmaker has something for us. To this, the director says that he has a script and SRK asks if the movie has comedy, emotion and romance. While saying the same, he does his iconic hand gesture but Rajkumar suggests he avoid this action.
Dunki, produced by JIO Studios, Red Chillies Entertainment, and Rajkumar Hirani Films, will also feature Taapsee Pannu in a pivotal part. Rajkumar, Abhijat Joshi, and Kanika Dhillon have written the script of the upcoming film. The director and producer of this movie is Gauri Khan.
Meanwhile, according to sources, SRK has worked with filmmaker Atlee on a project. If the actor reveals the project shortly, things will get a lot more intriguing.
