Ranveer Singh pens a heartfelt note for Bappi Lahiri on social media

The tragic death of Bappi Lahiri on February 15 has left everyone sad. Bollywood’s Disco King, who had been ill for some time, died of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) in Mumbai’s CritiCare Hospital, according to reports. Since then, several celebrities have used their social media platforms to pay heartfelt tribute to Bappi Lahiri. Ranveer Singh has also joined them, dedicating a special tribute to the renowned artist and sharing flashback photos and footage of himself with Bappi Da from an occasion.

In the caption, Ranveer expressed his thanks to Bappi Lahiri for his incredible music, which has touched the hearts of millions of people over the years. The Bajirao Mastani star also thanked Bappi Da for the memories he has given to his fans through his music. Later, Ranveer noted that there isn’t going to be anyone like Bappi Da and that the music original will live on forever. He wrote, “Thank you for the music, Thank you for the memories. There never has been & never will be anyone like you. #BappiDa lives forever”

 Meanwhile, Bappi Lahiri’s last rites are being performed at Mumbai’s Pawan Hans cremation ground, and several celebrities from the industry, including Shakti Kapoor, Rupali Ganguly, Vidya Balan, Bhushan Kumar, Udit Narayan, Alka Yagnik, Vindu Dara Singh, and others, have been seen paying their respects to the late musician. Amitabh Bachchan also paid respect to Bappi Da in a tweet, stating, “Bappi Lahiri .. music director extraordinaire passes away .. shocked and surprised and in the misery of these tragic events of ‘passing’ in the rapid succession of times .. his songs of films with me are and shall I believe remain eternal”.
