Sidharth’s family has been on the road to emotional recovery since his death. Rita’s family has long been involved with the Brahma Kumaris, a spiritual organisation, and she frequently spends time with the kids at their summer camp.

Sidharth made his television debut with Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na in 2008. He then went on to star in shows like Jaane Pehchaane Se Ye Ajnabbi and Love You Zindagi. He later played the role of District Collector Shivraj Shekhar in the popular show Balika Vadhu. In the show, Sidharth was paired opposite late actress Pratyusha Banerjee, and their bond was adored by viewers.

Sidharth was then cast in the film Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania along with Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan. He later appeared on and won Khatron Ke Khiladi 7 in 2015. Following that, he appeared on Bigg Boss 13, where he gained massive popularity and a lot of attention for his close relationship with Punjabi actress and singer Shehnaaz Gill.

The actor’s social media accounts were memorialised in March of this year. A message on his accounts reads, “Remembering Sidharth Shukla – This account has been memorialized. Memorialized accounts are a place to remember and celebrate the life of someone who has passed away .”
