Dil Dhadakne Do Trailer: Feel the heartbeat amidst gorgeously picturesque atmosphere

After giving one of the most happening movie especially for the youth community – Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Zoya Akhtar is back with a new movie called Dil Dhadakne Do. This has been in a discussion since it was first revealed in the media. After releasing a couple of its posters, Zoya  is back with its trailer. As the trailer hits the social media, it has simply created the high intensity buzz, thanks to the high octane and happening kind of trailer, which has the potential to create the hype in the media. Now, let’s dig deep into the trailer and get the gist about the same.

It’s a multi-starrer film with loads of star including Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra, Anushka Sharma, Farhan Akhtar, Anil Kapoor, Shefali Shah and let’s not forget Rahul Bose as well seen after a long gap over the silver screen. So, importantly, you have six major characters in the film amidst the dreamy and ultra-luxurious cruise trip. All come from a super rich family, yet, amidst all the opulence and sheen they fail to hide the cracks evident in their relationships unlike the way we find in any elite families of Town.

As the trailer unveils the first time, you are certainly going to have an overwhelming feeling by its incredible sheer scale. The very top angle of the cruise line with magnanimous ocean at the backdrop amidst stunning overseas locales and gorgeous people in new style give indeed a compelling visual. However, as you scratch the surface, you get to see dysfunctional family who are trying hard to act the normal way inside their world. Precisely speaking, the story seems to revolve around the Mehras having Kamal Mehra (Anil Kapoor) who wants his son Kabir (Ranveer) to marry a girl of his choice, however, the son is seen falling in love with other lady called Farah (Anushka Sharma) who is a free bird.

On the other side, Kamal (Anil Kapoor) and Neelam (Shefali Shah) wants their daughter Ayesha (Priyanka Chopra) to stay married, however, she is keen to reconcile with her old boyfriend Sunny. At the very same time, Kamal and Neelam are not seen happy with each other as well. Will the Mehra family sort out their issues to save their lives seen into bits and pieces, can be found out only when the movie hits the theatre. Now, if you check the crux of the trailer, you find the story of a brother and sister relationship. Anil Kapoor is fabulous in his job of patriarch of the Mehras, while Shefali Shah is seen incredible in the role of a typical mother hen of the family.

The others like Farhan Akhtar and Anushka Sharma is seen playing their parts as well, but as they are the outsiders, they often remain away from the focal point of the director. Priyanks in the role of Ayesha seems incredible in her performance as it comes like a powerhouse while portraying a role of a married woman with sheer perfection. And on the top of it, Ranveer Singh is seen making a very good impact with his cutely and gorgeously moving youngest child in this family drama.

Wrapping up

In barely a trailer of 3 minutes, the audience would get to know the dysfunctional relationship issues dogging the family of Mehras. You notice some incredible performances amidst one of the most picturesque environment- blue water, ultra luxury cruise and above all the so called elite people who are more interested in other’s problems than theirs. In other words, the trailer is simply mind blowing, which has increased the inquisitiveness quotient of people checking the trailer. So all eyes there on 5th June when the movie is finally hitting the theatres.
