Siddharth Malhotra Takes His Role In Jabariya Jodi Way Too Seriously

Parineeti & Siddharth Fire Paan

Trust Bollywood to give you news that will make you laugh and the media never fails to follow suit to cover the cliché news. Siddharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra try the famous fire paan in Delhi and we don’t really get how this is an appropriate promotion for their upcoming movie – Jabariya Jodi. They both took to Instagram to share their photos and experiences with the whole world, because actors never really do anything just for the sake of doing it – it’s always a promotion of some kind.

We had given up on print media long ago, but online news became the light at the end of the tunnel. Sadly, that doesn’t seem to be the case any longer. Reading ridiculous news like this one shows just how far the Indian paparazzi will go to get eyeballs on their website or have more units of newspapers picked up every morning. It’s partially the fault of the Indian audience as well, because they lap up all kinds of gossip and keep yearning for more.

“Sid likes paan. I don’t. We are a jabariya jodi. Also, FIRE paan? Ummm @sidmalhotra,” Parineeti, captioned her video.]

Sidharth, on the other hand, captioned his post, “Khaike paan Jabariya wala.”

In the video shared by him, Sidharth, who is seen sporting a gamcha, aviators and a floral T-shirt and denims, can be seen in his Bihari character from his film Jabariya Jodi. While Sidharth enjoys his paan, Parineeti is surprised at the way the paanwala makes her co-star eat the paan. Later on, the actress says, “I am scared!” as she too tries it.

“Hum paan khaake aaye hain, bahot hi badhiya paan khaaya humne Dilli mein. Flaming tha flaming. Paan mein aag. Pet mein aag lag gayi abhi. Fire in my belly,” the Student Of The Year actor says in his Bhojpuri accent.

We know you’re excited about your next movie, but please tone it down a notch Siddharth.

If you ask her parents, they would say that she learned to hold the Nintendo joystick before she even learned how to walk. Being significantly younger than her two brothers, she was exposed to gaming at an early stage and has fallen deeply in love with it, even choosing to have a profession in the same field. With a diploma in game design from Rubika, she now works as a game designer and developer, and can now play video games at any time of the day she wants, and if they try to ask her, "Just doing some research, I swear" will always be her reply.
