Today, the web series has dominated the world like anything. Talk of any streaming media and we have one of the other interesting web series to broadcast. Recently we hear Amazon Prime Video announcing not 1 or two or three but 14 new original web series for this year. One of these that remains the much-talked one is the Saif Ali Khan starrer political thriller series called Dilli. It is a political drama and now as per the latest buzz, Amyra Dastur is all set to join the star cast.
The political thriller has Sultan fame director Ali Abbas Zafar, which talks about the powerful passages of Lutyen’s Delhi as called by the ruling party at the center of Indian polity. The others in the star cast include comedian Sunil Grover, TV star Gauahar Khan, and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub in different supporting role. Confirming the news, Amyra said that she is also part of a political thriller, which has a delicious script from the known filmmaker.
She is glad to work with Saif Ali Khan and calls him to be one of the finest actors in B Town. He also applauded the star cast with Sunil and Zeeshan on board. She has liked the story when she was offered the role she was quick to embrace it. Amyra has done a few web ventures earlier and this is not her first time. She has remained the part of the series called The Trip by Amazon, while a few are lined up for this year as well for the lady.
