There was news that the project had been kept on hold. But now, as per fresh reports, the makers have started working on this film. However, they have also arrived with some major changes to this project. They have decided to replace the lead actress, Sara Ali Khan, in the film.
We all know that ‘The Immortal Ashwathama’ has been under discussion for a long time. Fans are also eagerly awaiting this film. However, the latest reports suggest that this film will be released by next year. Meanwhile, a lot of information related to the film is out. According to media reports, actress Sara Ali Khan was going to play the lead role initially. But now, she is out of this much-awaited project.
Why Sara Ali Khan needed to be replaced?
A lot of changes have been made in the film, as per the information. The old script for this movie demanded a young female character to be featured in the film, so Sara was signed. But now, because the plot has been altered, a suitable actress has to be chosen according to the script. It must be someone who looks older than Vicky Kaushal, the lead actor of the film. There are claims that the makers have sealed the name of Samantha Ruth Prabhu. However, no official announcement regarding this topic has been made by the makers as of now.
Vicky Kaushal is still a part of this movie and there is no change in his role. Aditya Dhar is going to direct the film. The makers stated that the story of the film is the most important thing that matters these days. Vicky’s hold is strong and his credibility among the audience is also very good. So, there is no point in replacing him. According to reports, the pre-production work for the film has also started. It is being said that the story of the film is based on the character Ashwatthama of the Mahabharata.
