Parineeti Chopra opens up about her love story with Raghav Chadha and when she realized he was ‘the one’
Parineeti Chopra’s engagement with politician Raghav Chadha has been one of the top trending topics on Indian social media since last week.

Parineeti took to Instagram, where she shared a slew of pictures from her engagement, The pictures showcased her with fiance, politician Raghav Chadha, as well as her cousin and actor Priyanka Chopra and her other family members. But along with pictures, Parineeti also posted a heartfelt note in which she expressed how the actor knew she “met the one’.
The caption read: “One breakfast together and I knew – I had met the one. The most wonderful man whose quiet strength would be calming, peaceful and inspiring. His support, humour, wit and friendship are pure joy. He is my home. Our engagement party was like living a dream – a dream unfurling beautifully amidst love, laughter, emotion and loads of dancing! As we hugged those we loved dearest and celebrated with them, emotions overflowed. As a little girl in awe of princess stories, I had imagined how my fairytale would begin. Now that it has, it is even better than I had imagined. ?”

Several photos also showed the couple having fun with their loved ones. Raghav can be seen wiping away Parineeti’s tears in one photo, as she became emotional while holding him. In another photo, Parineeti and Raghav Chadha were seen hugging one other. Parineeti’s cousin sister and actor Priyanka Chopra was photographed applying tika (vermillion mark) to Raghav’s forehead.
Meanwhile, on the acting front, Parineeti Chopra will be next seen sharing the screen with Diljit Dosanjh in the Imtiaz Ali directorial ‘Chamkila’. The film is said to be inspired by Punjabi singer duo Amar Singh Chamkila. While Diljit is set to portray the titular character, Parineeti will be seen portraying the character of Amarjot Kaur. Parineeti wrapped up the film’s shoot in March 2023.
