I will be scared if my daughter wants to become an actor: Shahid Kapoor
Shahid Kapoor who is a proud father of one, has been making headlines for being a responsible husband and a father as well. However, when asked how would be he react when his daughter would tell him that she wants to act in films, his answer would surprise many. He spoke his mind about this question, which had an unexpected answer about the acting profession.
He was talking to the Vogue BFFs magazine wherein he spoke to his mind and talked about his paternity leave and his feelings about becoming a father. He said he is getting used to it being a working man and says he is completely dedicated father now. He said every passing day is amazing with his daughter. He said then said that his father is a great man apart from being hyper and overprotective which he would not like to be with his daughter.
Most importantly when he was posed if his daughter would wish to become an actress then what he would do. He said it scares him about this thought a lot considering the perils found in the industry towards women at the background. Though he said he would not like to remain overprotective unlike his father, yet this answer seems really surprising.
The actor has taken a break from his work for the paternity leave and is with his wife and daughter all these five months. In terms of work, he will be resuming the shooting of Vishal Bhardwaj directed movie Rangoon apart from being in the movie Padmavati by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, which is again the director’s magnum opus.
