Yashashri Masurkar is a popular TV actress apart from being a known voice actor. She hails from Mumbai wherein she was born on 30th December 1986 in a middle class family. She did her schooling and college from Mumbai. During her student life, she was active in creative things like drawing, writing and painting. She also started earning early by taking up private tuitions and also worked in a pharmacy company as office assistant to support her family. She then got chance to work in AIR (All India Radio) as announcer and later even worked in a call center before heading to the creative world.
She also tried her destiny in modeling wherein she got the chance to do a beauty pageant known as Sharavan Queen 2009, which was organized by TOI. She then won the runners up for the same and continued to remain in the glamour industry leaving her BPO job to pursue her dreams. Soon she got the chance to enter the small screen Rang Badalti Odhani as Khanak Khandelwal in 2010. Soon she got another TV series called Chandragupta Maurya in 2011, Sanskaar – Dharohar Apnon Ki, Do Dil Bardhe Ek Dori Se, Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya and Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat.
