Playing an antagonist in 2.0 made me learn patience & become a better person: Akshay Kumar

The film 2.0 featuring Akshay Kumar in a negative role has made the actor to learn many things. In the much-awaited, and high-budget film called which also has Rajinikanth, Akshay claimed to have gained many things to become a better person. This is the first time when the actor is doing a negative role in such a movie, and he said the process to enter into the character has made him gain a lot. He said he had to sit idle for three long hours every day when he came for the shoot doing nothing. He informed that three people work on his body at a time and he used to remain patient that long time that was really tough.

He then said the entire phase of prosthetics made him a patient and a calm person. He said he is already a patient man, but with this film, he was more mellow and subtle at that particular time. Akshay disclosed this while talking to a selected media group this Monday. He informed that doing both the makeup and removing the same would need 3 hours which was both painful and patient job. During the shooting schedule, he used to remain on the liquid diet. He said that when he used to return home and come the next day for the shoot he used to fear to get the three hours again for the prosthetics.

He further said that he was fortunate to work with the iconic filmmaker from the South called S Shankar and with Rajnikanth movie. He applauded the director Shankar calling him a humble man and with a good sense of humour that was witnessed too often in the daily conversations. He said that the director is very professional person and when he first heard the story from Shankar he was astonished and wondered as to why not others have explored so far the same. The film is made at a whopping budget of 543 Cr and will be a 3D film. The film is a sequel to Robot, which was science fiction.
