Sushant Singh Rajput’s Journey: From Engineering Topper to TV & Films

When the sudden news of Sushant Singh Rajput’s death came, it did shock the whole world. The B Town celebs were quick to share their RIP messages without a delay. The bright young man ended his life as he was suffering from depression for the past few months. He was even getting the treatment apart from trying things like meditation and Yoga, but nothing seemed to have worked for the 34 year old actor. As he is no more in this world, let’s have a look on the journey on the actor in his career:

He hails from Patna, Bihar with most of his family members as doctors and surgeons. Coming from a qualified family, he has been the topper at Delhi College of Engineering and has even bagged Scholarship for Stanford University, but he chose to make his career in acting. He even bagged the National Olympiad in Physics and has cleared 11 engineering entrance tests but finally chose DCE.  college

Being a huge fan of Shah Rukh Khan since the days of DDLJ, and it was in 2006, he dropped the bomb at home when he in his final years announced his exit from Engineering and headed to Mumbai to start a career in acting. He then joined Barry John’s acting school doing his three month’s training in acting. He loved his presence on stage as he was able to engage the audience. Besides, he also got trained in dance and martial arts. 

In 2008, he got the chance to be the part of Ekta Kapoor TV show Kis Desh Mein Hai Mera Dil and the coming year, he bagged the leading role in Zee TV show – Pavitra Rishta with Ankita Lokhande. The Bollywood happened in his life in 2011 with the film Kai Po Che, which was based on Chetan Bhagat’s book My Three Mistakes. Since then it has not looking back for the actor. He kept on getting one film to the other. Some of the films he did included ‘Shuddh Desi Romance’, ‘PK’, ‘MS Dhoni The Untold Story’, ‘Raabta’, ‘Welcome to New York’, ‘Kedarnath’, ‘Son Chidiya’, ‘Chichhore’, and ‘Drive’. However, with MS Dhoni, he was able to prove his competence. While talking about his upcoming films, he had one- Dil Bechara.

Sushant Singh Rajput was a bright young man who lost his battle against life for something he was finding tough. Indeed, he will be missed in the industry!
