Janhvi Kapoor, Roshan Mathew, Gulshan Devaiah to star in spy thriller ‘Ulajh’
Janhvi Kapoor is set to star in a spy thriller ‘Ulajh’ which is to be directed by National award-winner Sudhanshu Saria. The actress announced the film by sharing the first look. Announcing the film, Janhvi wrote, “The price of secrets is higher in the world of Diplomacy”.

The first look of the film shows Janhvi Kapoor in the centre, with Gulshan Devaiah, Roshan Mathew, Rajesh Tailang, Meiyang Chang, and Sachin Khedekar on either side.
Ulajh recounts the story of a young IFS officer from a distinguished patriot family who becomes caught in a hazardous personal plot while away from home on a career-defining assignment.
Ulajh will go on floors by the end of the month. Ulajh appears to be an intense drama based on its first look and title, so it will be intriguing to witness Janhvi in this new role. Junglee Pictures, which is known for releasing the critically acclaimed and beloved spy thriller Raazi, is behind Ulajh. This is Sudhanshu Saria’s third feature film directorial venture, following Loev (2015) and the upcoming ‘Sanaa,’ which stars Radhika Madan, Shikha Talsania, Sohum Shah, and Pooja Bhatt in prominent parts. Saria received a National Film Award for his work on the short film Knock, Knock, Knock.
This is Janhvi’s third thriller, following ‘Mili’ and ‘Good Luck Jerry’. In addition to ‘Ulajh,’ Janhvi has a slew of other projects in the works. She will next be featured in the sports drama ‘Mrs. And Mrs. Mahi,’ in which she will co-star with Rajkummar Rao. She will also appear in Nitish Kumar’s ‘Bawaal,’ alongside Varun Dhawan and her Telugu debut NTR30 where she will be seen opposite Jr. NTR.
