The off-screen lovers Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt will showcase their real life chemistry in the film Brahmastra, about to be released in December this year. But as much as the audiences will see their real life chemistry in the end of 2019, in 2020 the couple will clash at the box office. Ranbir’s Shamshera and Alia Bhatt’s RRR are expected to clash in 2020 at the box office with back to back releases.
Alia is making her first Tamil debut in S Rajamouli’s magnum opus RRR. It is scheduled to release on July 30, 2020. Alia has said, “Working with Rajamouli sir is a big big tick off my bucket list.. also to be alongside Ram Charan and Jr. NTR is an absolute honour.. I am very excited about this experience and also working in the south for the first time.. I begin shoot in less than a month.. I will be playing the role of Sita, and the film is set in 1920s backdrop.”
Ranbir Kapoor’s Shamshera, which is produced by Yash Raj Films, is expected to release on July 31, 2020. Shamshera is an action movie featuring a Ranbir and Sanjay Dutt in a cut-throat battle. This movie will be directed by Karan Malhotra and will also be starring Vaani Kapoor as the leading lady. The shooting has already begun and will be wrapped by mid-2019.
July 2020 will also see the release of Akshay Kumar’s Sooryavanshi, directed by Rohit Shetty. This film is supposed to release on Eid 2020, which co-incidentally also falls on July 30. The Sooryavanshi team is about to begin shooting soon, but they are yet to finalize the leading lady of the movie. It is aafter a long while that the Box Office is going to see such a huge clash. How exciting will this be for all the Bollywood fanatics?!
