Akshay Kumar donates INR 4.5 Million to CINTAA

Akshay Kumar has remained a popular man when it comes to contributing to the war against the virus. He was first to donate 25 Cr to PM CARE funds and even donated 1000 wrist bands in the city to get rid of the same. As per the latest buzz, he has come forward to donate around Rs 45 lakh to the Cine & TV Artistes Association (CINTAA) for donating the daily wage workers who have been hit hard by the pandemic.

Talking about the same, Amit Behl, the Sec CINTAA thanked the actor for supporting the same. This initiative was announced by actor Ayub Khan who then roped in actors incluling Jaaved Jaaferi along with the filmmaker – Sajid Nadiadwala followed by actor Akshay Kumar. They then got a request from Akki asking the account details of the workers. Then he transferred INR 3K directly in the bank accounts of each member. 

Akshay has been active in the lockdown period donating money to various groups including PM CARE and even giving 2 Cr to BMC and Mumbai police who have been playing their part. He was also seen shooting for an ad talking about the preventive measurements for the virus in Mumbai. Talking about his work, he has a couple of films to release this year including Laxmmi Bomb and Sooryavanshi to name a few. While other films are on hold due to the lockdown including Prithviraj and Bell Bottom to name a few. Stay tuned to know more about it and others only with us.
