Roy with the collection of 10.40 in its first day turned out to be the top grosser of 2015. With Baby reaching to 9.25 crore this year, the film of the debutant director Vikramjit was able to secure the number one position in terms of collection. After getting a good start on Friday, the movie witnessed a good surge the other day tolling to around 11.16 crore, however, on Sunday, the collection fell down, thanks to the India Pakistan match in the World Cup, which kept the audience away from the film.
So as per reports, Roy’s first weekend box office collection tolled to around 28.68 crores, which went decent over the box office. As per experts, the film is expected get decent collection in the rest of the days. Despite getting mixed reviews from the critics, the film is able to collect a good collection at the end of the first weekend. The film, which was produced at a budget of 30 crores was able to reach this figure after its first weekend. Thanks to the presence of Ranbir and hot Jacqueline Fernandez along with the hot hunk- Arjun Rampal, things really went smooth for the film.
