Kareena Kapoor Khan to join Ajay Devgn and Deepika Padukone in ‘Singham Again?’
Just a few days ago, makers of the Ajay Devgn and Deepika Padukone-starrer ‘Singham Again’ made an official announcement that the film will arrive in cinemas on 15 August 2024.

Now, according to recent reports, Kareena Kapoor Khan is going to join Ajay Devgn and Deepika Padukone in ‘Singam Again’. As per the Mid-day report, Kareena Kapoor Khan has been signed up for Rohit Shetty‘s actioner Singham 3. The publication quoted a source as saying, “Kareena has been roped in as the female lead. Details regarding her character are being kept under wraps. The film is expected to go on floors by the year-end, and the team is excited to have the lead pair back.”
Admirers of the Singham franchise and Kareena’s admirers have been overjoyed since the news surfaced on social media. Fans also wonder what part Kareena Kapoor Khan would play in the film. Will she be seen reprising her role from Singham Returns? Or will Rohit Shetty create a new role just for her?
Kareena played Singham’s love interest Avani’ Kamat’ in Singham Returns for the uninitiated. As of yet, little is known about the plot of the third film of this franchise.
Kareena Kapoor was last seen on the big screen alongside Aamir Khan in the box office flop Laal Singh Chaddha. The actress’s next appearance will be in Hansal Mehta’s untitled crime drama, which is now in post-production. The actress will also appear in filmmaker Sujoy Ghosh’s murder mystery based on famed novelist Keigo Higashino’s 2005 popular Japanese novel ‘The Devotion Of Suspect X’. Vijay Varma and Jaideep Ahlawat also appear in the flick. The film will be released on Netflix.
Meanwhile, ‘Singham Again’ will go on floors by the end of this year. Rohit Shetty is simultaneously working on his most anticipated web series ‘Indian Police Force’. The web series which stars Siddharth Malhotra, Shilpa Shetty, is an extension of Rohit’s cop universe which includes films like Singham, Sooryavanshi which stars Akshay Kumar and Simmba starring Ranveer Singh.
