Taapsee Pannu was not the first choice for Haseen Dillruba, she says, ‘if it’s meant for you it will come to you’
Taapsee Pannu is all set to bring her upcoming film Haseen Dillruba. The film also features Vikrant Massey and Harshvardhan Rane. While the makers dropped the trailer of the film which got appreciated by the audience, Taapsee revealed interesting trivia about the film.

Recently while the actor was in conversation with Navbharat Times she revealed that she was chosen for the film after the makers couldn’t find anyone, “The day Kanika Dhillon told me about the basic concept of Haseen Dilruba, I liked it a lot. Unfortunately, I was not the first choice for the film. It eventually came to me, after they exhausted all their options,” Taapsee said.
“The good old saying that, if it’s meant for you it will come to you stands true for this case. It’s not just a beautifully written mystery, it has such wonderful characters, which is candy in an actor’s hands,” she added.
Sharing her excitement she said, “I am glad I got to experiment with my look and performance with this one because I am definitely not the go-to person for this kind of character conventionally, and we all love to take risks.”

The Netflix film Haseen Dillruba directed by Vinil Mathew, and written by Kanika Dhillon is set to premiere on Netflix on July 2.
