Kartik Aaryan was recently asked about being linked up with Sara Ali Khan. To which the actor replied that it was not promotional.
Kartik and Sara were spotted together in Imtiaz Ali’s Love Aaj Kal and were also rumoured to be dating at the time. However they allegedly split up later. The actors, on the other hand, have never publicly discussed their rumoured romance and subsequent breakup.

When asked if there was any truth to reports that the connections were a promotional stunt for films, Kartik said, “No, no. There was nothing promotional there. How do I explain this? No dear, I mean, we are humans as well. Not everything is promotional. This is all that I will say on this topic.”
Kartik and Sara collaborated on the film Love Aaj Kal for the first time. During the shoot, amid dating rumours, the actors were frequently seen together in the city. Sara revealed her crush on Kartik during an appearance on Karan Johar’s chat show Koffee With Karan.
Sara was most recently seen in David Dhawan’s reboot of Coolie No. 1 starring Varun Dhawan. She also appeared in Aanand L Rai’s Atrangi Re with Akshay Kumar and Dhanush. She also has interesting projects in the pipeline, including Vikrant Massey’s Gaslight. She recently wrapped filming with Vicky Kaushal on an untitled project.
On the other hand Kartik starrer Anees Bazmee’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’s released today. Tabu, Kiara Advani, and Rajpal Yadav also appear in the film. It is the sequel to the popular 2007 horror comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa, which starred Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan.
