Happy Birthday Lara Dutta, the Former Miss Universe Turns 42 Today
It’s a big day for the former Miss Universe – Lara Dutta as she turns a year older today. Born on this date in the year 1978, the actress has come a long way in her career. She is the second lady in the country to be crowned as Miss Universe in the year 2000, and she has maintained the second Indian so far since the year she bagged this title. She was seen doing her debut in B Town with a romantic film called Andaaz and it was a big hit at the box office.
The film also helped her bag the Best Female Debut Actress Award at Filmfare. Since then it was no looking back for the actress as she did a couple of film in B Town including Don 2, Housefull and Partner to name few which has remained critically acclaimed movies in B Town. She comes from the defense background and her father has been in the Indian airforce working as a Wing Commander, while her sister also served in the airforce.
