With the recent comment on Casting Couch by veteran choreographer Saroj Khan, the issue is back in news. The fact of the matter is the menace of casting couch has been allegedly there in the film industry since decades. But the victims have never even thought of speaking about it as it can ruin their credibility in the media. After we have seen some of the divas talking about the same in the media at the workplaces, we have noticed some stories pertaining to the casting couch.How about checking the 5 casting moments of different Bollywood divas in the recent times as under:
1) Kangana Ranaut
During the audition of the film Tanu weds Manu, the actress was asked to have sex once she is done with the meeting with the authorities, however, she denied doing it and finally kept mum till the film was released and later in one of her interview shared the casting couch moment with the media.
2) Mamta Kulkarni
Though Mamta could be out of the B Town and is meeting with her punishment in Dubai for transporting drugs but she too was the victim of this menace. She shared her casting couch moment with the media alleging the famous director Rajkumar Santoshi while she was shooting for the film China Gate. She was asked to compromise a bit but she denied but many said she had compromised on it.
3) Rina Golan
She has come a long way from Israel to try her luck in India in a hope of getting a chance in Hindi Cinema industry. She was came in touch with her director Subhashish Ghai, who was seen offering her a role in one of his movies. However, she soon was returning to her country and then wrote an autobiography wherein she revealed her casting couch moment.
4) Mamta Patel
She has worked in the film Paan Singh Tomar wherein she was seen accusing the co-star Irfan Khan of couching. Since the actor was not happy to work with her she was asked to compromise to make things right. She had a slide which she circulated but nothing really worked out in her favor.
5) Geetika Tyagi
When she started her journey in B Town she was seen facing the same. She also defamed Subhashish Kapoor of couching. There was a video in which the two were seen talking and the lady claimed that he asking sexual favor in exchange of the work in Bollywood.
