As the Irrfan Khan starrer film, Angrezi Medium is all set to hit the screens this Friday, it would be interesting to see how the pre-release buzz for it at the moment. The film happens to be the sequel to the 2017 Super-Hit, Hindi Medium. Thus it has good expectations from the audience. The film seems to have a good start value, all thanks to the presence of veteran actors like Irrfan Khan. The first installment was a decent grosser with collection reaching 69 Crores as its lifetime collection at the box office.
The movie has touched the right chord and so is the sequel story going to do the same thing for it. Irrfan Khan has gained a decent admiration among his fans for suffering from a fatal disease as he was getting treatment in London. Also, the presence of Kareena Kapoor Khan would help the film in a big way giving extended visibility. The promotions, however, have remained restricted as Irrfan Khan is getting medical attention for his ailment. He has excused himself for the same reason for the promotions, which has certainly put its impact on it.
Going with the buzz, which was created after the trailer, the film is likely to get a decent response. However, on the first day, it may not call a huge mass, but for the coming first weekend, it may have a good impact on the box office. With powerful performances and decent reviews which most of the critics are expected to give would certainly going to boost up the word of mouth buzz for the film for sure. Having said that, one can expect the collection on the first day to be around 3 to 5 Crores, while at the weekend it could be around 19 to 24 Crores for sure.
