Moving in with Malaika saw some interesting conversations between the actress and her friend Neha Dhupia. In the second episode of this Disney Plus Hotstar reality show that was released yesterday, she was seen trying to overcome her fear of driving while filing an ad. This was around the time Malaika was injured in a car accident earlier this year.
The actress also talked about receiving a full-fledged role in Farhad Samji’s feature film. But she was confused about whether to accept it or not, as she was expected to speak pure Hindi in this role as a stand-up comedian. The first person who came to mind when she needed advice on this matter was her sister Amrita, not her boyfriend Arjun Kapoor. Yes, you read it right!
When Neha heard this, she was surprised and asked, “Why would you do that?” Malaika responded by saying she didn’t think about asking Arjun about this matter.
According to Farhad’s script narration, Malaika Arora plays a girl who speaks “shudh” Hindi and is a stand-up comedian. She quickly gets angry with people who communicate in English. After hearing this, the actress was unsure whether she could pull off the character and therefore asked for some time to decide.
After her conversation with her sister, Amrita, she met her BFF, Neha Dhupia, and revealed that she doesn’t think the role matches her. She also disclosed that Amrita suggested she at least try it. On this, Neha Dhupia responds, “Why is her advice being taken? We love Amu, but all her advice has to be executed by someone else. You have a lot of actor friends. Why not Arjun? Amu used to work 15 years ago, and Arjun is a real star working currently.”

In the second episode of Moving In With Malaika, we also saw Neha Dhupia assisting Malaika Arora in preparation for her stand-up comedy. Malaika will crack jokes about herself, her divorce, dating a young guy, and being a single parent. However, the actress got agitated and frustrated during the preparation.
