PM Narendra Modi appreciates Indian actors for getting felicitated at the Cannes Film Festival

Recently, in a press, India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi appreciated the Indian actor who has departed to attend Cannes Film Festival. His press video was shared by ANI’s social media portal. In his statement, the Indian PM said, “Delighted about India’s participation as a Country of Honour at MarchĂ© du Film-festival de Cannes. As India celebrates its 75th yr of independence, the 75th anniversary of Cannes Film Festival & 75 yrs of Indo-French diplomatic ties enhance pride associated with momentous milestones: PM”.

He further said, “India is the largest film-producing country in the world. With films in many languages from different regions, the multifariousness of our film sector is remarkable.” The honourable PM also spoke about the renowned filmmaker, Satyajit Ray’s film screening. He said, “It is heartening to note that a film by one of India’s most renowned filmmakers, Satyajit Ray, has been restored for screening at the Cannes Classics section when India is celebrating the birth centenary of the legendary filmmaker.”

A lot5 of big celebrities from the Entertainment industry including Deepika Padukone, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Tamannaah Bhatia, Hina Khan and a lot more will be walking the red carpet at the biggest film festival.
The festival started today itself and for the first day, Deepika Padukone slew the festival with a Sabyasachi outfit. Well, the festival and just begun and there are many more looks of the beautiful actresses to come out yet.
