This Friday belonged only to mid-budget movies in B Town and one of teh films released included the one called Angrezi Mein Kehte Hain. It happens to be an Indian Hindi language drama film, which is directed by Harish Vyas while it is produced by Manav Malhotra. The film being an average budget movie with mostly the unknown faces mostly known for the supporting roles like Sanjay Mishra, Pankaj Tripathi, Brijendra Kala, Ekavali Khanna, Anshuman Jha and Shivani Raghuvanshi in the lead roles failed to garner much buzz in the media. Hence it was very well witnessed the way it failed to impress the audience.
However, the basic reason was to amount of buzz it had in the media. Though the film managed to get a decent review by most of the critics, which dealt with a unique tale of romance having three couples who are known to have their distinct views about the everlasting love, yet in many ways, the film failed to attract the audience far and wide. This is one of the reasons why the first day collection for the film was not that impressive. Well, now, let’s check the way the film has performed at the box office on the first day. The first day box office collection for Angrezi Mein Kehte Hain is around 2.5 crore, which is still a decent figure for the makers.
The experts and trade pundits are still hoping to see the film doing better over the box office. This is because they feel that there will be some amount of buzz to be created with the word of mouth in the media. The film has a decent rating and the budget seems to be low so even if it collects less the movie would still win the brownie points for it. As of now the figure seems to be decent but with the weekend having good amount of chances to see a good lift in the collection, more chance is there that it can collect around 15 crore at the end of the first weekend at the box office.
