Jawan 1st Weekend Box Office: Shah Rukh Khan’s Film Accumulates ₹81 Crore on Day 4, Weekend Total Soars to ₹287 Crore

Jawan, the action entertainer starring Shah Rukh Khan and Nayanthara, had a phenomenal Sunday at the box office. The film collected an estimated ₹81 crore nett in India for all languages, according to early estimates reported by Sacnilk.com. The gross collection as reported by film trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan stands at ₹85.10 crore.

Jawan, the much-awaited action thriller starring Shah Rukh Khan, had a strong opening weekend at the box office. The film collected ₹75 crore on its opening day, with ₹65.5 crore coming from the Hindi version and the rest from the Tamil and Telugu versions. It went on to collect ₹53.23 crore on Friday, ₹77.83 crore on Saturday, and ₹81 crore on Sunday.

The total collection of the film stands at ₹287 crore as of today, September 11, 2023. This is a phenomenal collection for a Hindi film, and it is only the second film of 2023 to cross the ₹200 crore mark in its opening weekend. The first film was Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.

The report also stated that Jawan had an occupancy of 70.77% for Hindi shows, 53.71% for Tamil shows, and 68.79% for Telugu shows on Sunday. This means that 70.77% of the seats in the theaters screening the Hindi version of the film were filled, 53.71% of the seats in the theaters screening the Tamil version of the film were filled, and 68.79% of the seats in the theaters screening the Telugu version of the film were filled.

The overall occupancy of 70.77% is a good sign for the film, as it indicates that it is resonating with audiences. The higher occupancy for the Tamil and Telugu versions of the film suggests that the film is also appealing to audiences in those languages.
