Akshay Kumar is currently feeling worried for his thousands of fans and acting aspirants in the country. The actor-producer made his aware on social media about the fake casting calls made by him for his sequel to hit single, Filhal, sung by B Praak and pictured with Nupur Sanon.
Shortly before the lockdown, it was reported that the song’s response, which has been viewed over 700 million times, prepared the makers to come up with its sequel.
Taking advantage of the lockdown, some individuals and groups used social media and reached out to aspiring actors, asking for their photos and other details, claiming that they were the casting incharge for the song’s sequel. Very few people knew that Akshay and Nupur would be in the song sequel, while the team behind the number would be the same.
Akshay took to his social media page and clarified, “It has been brought to our notice that some of the culprits have created a fake news for the casting of Filhaal Song 2. We, the team at Filhaal, would like to clarify that neither we nor our production house / banner have authorized or engaged any person, agency, partnership firm or company for the casting of sequel of our song film. ”
“In fact, we are not looking for anyone to cast a new cast for the sequel to the film and we assure you that the story of the film is on and will be portrayed by the film’s original cast and the same team. We would request all our fans and viewers to disregard any such fake casting calls. “
“Given the love and unprecedented response to the first part of Filhaal, we, as a team, were very excited to bring Filhaal Part 2 to you as soon as possible. However, while we are fighting these grave conditions at the moment, we respect the laws, we will be back soon with Filhaal Part 2. ”
