Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah Producer Asit Modi Faces Legal Challenges

We have been hearing a lot about Asit Modi the producer of the popular Sab TV show called Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. As per the recent buzz, the Mumbai Police has filed a new case against him. As per several complaints against the producer, the Mumbai Police has lodged a fresh case against him based on the cases coming from the shows’ actors. The operation head Sohail Ramani and Jatin Bajaj, the Executive Producer of the show are the new to join against the producer. They claimed that the producer ill treats his team members and makes them work like animals.

The first FIR came against him under the sections 354 and 509 which deals with criminal force against a woman with the intention of outraging the modesty of the IPC. However, there is no arrest on the same. Jennifer Mistry, one of the leading actresses of the show claimed that she was ill treated by the producer especially when they have been shooting outdoors. She said the producer was after her complaining against him and claimed that they had a hostile environment on the sets. Their allegations seemed baseless and proved untrue.

She called all the allegations against her to be fallacious and have no value to the same. However, the producer refuted the allegations and claimed that he has ample proof to defy them all in the court. He said he has all the recordings which will prove his point and let him go free. On the other hand Powai Police has taken all their statement in connection with the case linked to sexual harassment against the producer. The police are investigating the matter and they will soon issue a summons to the producer. However, Asit Modi seems to move ahead in denial mode and claims to take a legal action against all who have been ill treating him and going in an unprofessional way. Stay tuned to know more about it and others only with us.
