Its been 14 years of Parineeta the film of Vidya Balan and we see her talking about it by sharing a throwback video reminiscing moments from her debut movie. It was this film that brought her to light in B Town and with the very first film, it was no looking back for the lady that has ruled millions of hearts with her incredible performance. She has come a long way, right from working with a shy girl from the Zee TV show called Hum Paanch in 2005, she got her debut film the same year.
Now, after 14 years she feels nostalgic about her first film in B Town. She was seen sharing a video from her film on social media and she wrote that the moments would live for her forever. She shared the last scene shot in the film with her at the center. She tagged the makers for the same along with the assistants that worked with the closing statement of 14 years. The film Parineeta happens to be an adaptation of the Bengali novel with the same title.
The novel was written by Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay who happened to be a known writer from Bengal. The film also had Saif Ali Khan and Sanjay Dutt in the lead roles. Talking about Vidya’s other work, she is the part of the movie Mission Mangal with Akshay Kumar along with a slew of other actors like Kirti Kulhari, Sonakshi Sinha, Taapsee Pannu, and Nithya Menon. She was also the part of the biopic film on Jayalalitha but she lost the film to Kangana Ranaut. She is also the part of the Shakuntala Devi biopic.
