Alia Bhatt reveals a strong bond with Ranbir Kapoor’s family and shares how her life has transformed since the birth of their daughter

Bollywood actor Alia Bhatt, who recently starred in Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, spoke about the changes she experienced when she transitioned from being a “Bhatt” to a “Kapoor” after marrying Ranbir Kapoor. She also discussed how she and Kapoor ensure quality time with their daughter, Raha, and coordinate their schedules so that one of them is always there for her.

Alia Bhatt spoke at the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit about how her life changed after the birth of her daughter, Raha. She said, “The way our families immediately got along, there was so much warmth and love, and that didn’t change overnight just because we got married. That love was there just before the wedding, and the same love and warmth was there the day after.”

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor welcomed their daughter, Raha, in November of last year. When asked about managing work and parenting, Bhatt said that she would answer the question from the perspective of two working parents. She acknowledged her privilege and access to professional help, but also emphasized the importance of having her priorities straight. “Our priority will always be Raha,” she said. “Our work is a huge part of who we are, and I don’t want to lose that part of me. It makes me happy. Someday when she is older, she will respect that part of her parents.
