The 2015 Christmas was earlier planned to have two big released this year, as the films Bajirao Mastani of Sanjay Leela Bhansali along with the Rohit Shetty‘s film Dilwale was supposed to hit the theaters. Both these projects are higly ambitious ones and have a good star power as well. In Dilwale you have the most happening couple Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol after five years (My Name Is Khan) along with Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sonon, while Bajirao Mastani has a deadly trio in the form of Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra.
However, the latter film, which is regarded as magnum opus of Bhansali will witness a delay, which means the film will hit next year. As per reports, the reason is Ranveer Singh, who has faced some injury, which has made him undergo a shoulder surgery this year. Following this surgery, Ranveer has been asked for a three weeks’ complete bed rest, which will also follow the physiotherapy. As per reports, this has simply caused the delay as most of the important scenes are yet to be done. The movie is a biopic based on the life of great Maratha warrior called Peshwa Bajirao. Though no fresh date of release has been officially declared, but it’s for sure that the movie will miss the important dates of Christmas 2015.
