After Dangal, Salman Khan starrer Tubelight to release in China in a Big way
We all got a glimpse of China’s love for Bollywood when Aamir Khan’s film ‘PK’ became the first Indian film to make 100 Cr in the country. Not just that, Deepika’s Hollywood debut ‘xXx: Return of Xander Cage’ worked in China way better than it did in India. Now, we have another Bollywood to be hit soon in the country of China.
Salman Khan, whose next film ‘Tubelight’ features Chinese actress Zhu Zhu, is gearing up for a mega release in the film’s leading lady’s country China. In an interview with a daily, Kabir Khan, director of the film, said, “Obviously, Salman Khan Films has taken a call to promote their film in a big way in China. Salman is expected to tour key Chinese cities to promote the film. This comes despite him having stopped doing city tours to promote films, a while back.”
Kabir feels that China is a market that has huge potential for growth of Indian movies. “China is a huge market. The number of theatres in the country is staggering. Plus, Tubelight does have a Chinese connection, including its leading lady. We are looking at the various possibilities of how to give the film a big release in China,” he added.
The film Tubelight also has the chineese actress called Zhu Zhu and Sohail Khan, ‘Tubelight’ is slated to release on June apart from Salman Khan. The movie is releasing this Eid and will be soon coming up with the trailer of the movie. Do comment about the same.
