Shakun Batra’s Gehraiyaan was setting fire on social media after its trailer launch and its songs create magic in the heart of audiences. Produced by Dharma production Gehraiyaan starring Deepika Padukone, Dhairya Karwa, Ananya Panday, Siddhant Chaturvedi. The movie is an intense love drama that shows the complexity of the modern relationship. On February 11, Gehraiyaan was released on OTT, and it has been getting mixed reactions from the audiences.
Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut criticized Gehraityaan indirectly by sharing a post that read, “I am also a millennial but I identify and understand this kind of romance….in the name of millennial/ new age/ urban movies don’t sell trash pls…bad movies are bad movies no amount of skin show or pornography can save it…it’s a basic fact koi Gehraiyaan wali baat nahi hai.” And now #BoycottBollwyood trend is once again starting.
