Barsha Chatterjee is an actress and model who hails from Kolkata. She was born on 8th June 1989 in Kolkata and was brought up in this place. Her father was Prabir Chatterjee, a physiotherapist in Kolkata. She did her schooling at Pratt Memorial School and completed her college from Calcutta University. She was involved in plays during her school and college days. This led their foundation of entering into the acting world making allowing her to relocate to Mumbai.
She started her acting career working in Bengali TV shows and headed to Mumbai to enter the mainstream media. As she reached Mumbai to pursue her dreams in the acting world. With a bit of struggle, she got the chance to work in the Ekta Kapoor show called Shivangi Ishan Kaul and then got yet another TV series called . Before entering into acting and she got the chance to work as a fashion model starting at the age of 16. She worked with several brands including Reliance, Senco Gold, Spencers, Nokia, and many more.
Some of her other films that include Kasamh Se, Koi Aane Ko Hai, etc. She then got the chance to work in Zee Bangla, Sampoorna, Yeh Shaddi Hai Ya Sauda DD Nationals, Neelichatriwale as Mrs. Chatterjee on Zee TV, Ishq ka rang Safed as Rachna, Khatmal e Ishq as Mrs. D’mello, Aap Ke Aa Jane Se Serial Zee TV and Udaan on Colors Tv Serial. She was recently seen in brands including PayTm, Food Panda, Colgate, Tide, LG, Food Panda, Google, Fino Payments, and Champions Trophy to name a few.
