Jayalalithaa biopic Thalaivi’s producer Spills Beans about Kangana Ranaut playing Jaya
It was an amazing year for South Indian film Industry as they embarked with the biopic on veteran actor Savithri called Nadigaiyar Thilagam. The film had Keerthy Suresh in the lead role that had positive words both by the audiences and critics. Now, they are busy with the biopic to be made on the former actress-turned-politician – J Jayalalithaa popularly known as Amma.
It will be a bilingual biopic, having the Vijay fame director – Thalaivi to lead the show for the film. The film will have Kangana Ranaut playing the lead role in the film that remains the most awaited one on the silver screen. Kangana was seen talking about the film in March. She said that she is learning Tamil and has been preparing for the role by understanding the body language and other things about the late politician.
Talking about the B Town actress, the Tamil movie director said that Kangana is the perfect choice for the biopic film. He said the actress has been working hard for the film and that she has the potentials similar to the late actress on which the film is based. He said the film will be released in Tamil along with other languages in May 2020. KV Vijayendra Prasad who happens to be the Baahubali fame writer has jotted the story for the biopic, while the makers have titled the film as The Iron Lady having Nithya Menen also playing the main role.
