In the turbulent times, the B Town celebs have always proved that they are humans like anyone. Many of the celebs who seemed busy making videos and asking their fans to stay back at home, we see a few coming forward and donating a huge amount of money from their earnings for fighting the spread of the contagious virus. The following are the actors who donated money for the said cause, have a look at these:
Pawan Kalyan – The first one to donate a huge amount of money was the South Superstar Pawan Kalyan who donated around 2 Crores to fight the spread of the deadly virus. He first donated 50 lakhs in his state in the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Chief Minister Relief Funds and then donated Rs 1 crore to the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund. The rest he gave to another place for fighting the corona pandemic.
Kapil Sharma – The standup comedian was not seen lagging for this cause, as he was also seen coming forward and donating a whopping amount of 50 lakhs at the PM’s Relief Funds.
Hrithik Roshan – The Super 30 actor also came forward to donate a sum of 20 lakhs at the PM’s relief funds to fight the fatal virus.
Ram Charan – After Pawan Kalyan and others, the Telugu actor donated around 70 lakhs at the government relief fund amid the COVID-19 outbreak.
Rajnikanth – The superstar also donated a whopping 50 lakhs for daily wage workers of the South Indian film industry who would be affected by the complete shutdown due to the COVID 19 virus outbreak. He along with others like Suriya, Karthi and Vijay Sethupati gave a tangible amount for this cause.
Prabhas – The Saaho actor was also not seen lagging when he heard the call to donate money in this crisis. He was quick to share one crore from his earring for the PM’s relief work against the virus spread.
