KRK Does it Again, calls “RRR & Brahmastra Are Super Flop

The self proclaimed Controversial film critic Kamaal R Khan, also known as KRK, recently took to social media to express his views on the box office performances of the highly anticipated films RRR and Brahmastra. In a tweet, KRK claimed that both films were “super flop,” causing a stir among fans and critics alike.

KRK’s comments came in response to a troll who asked him to accept the collection figures for the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Pathaan as “fake” and acknowledge it as the “biggest blockbuster of Bollywood.” KRK responded by stating that Pathaan’s collection figures were indeed fake, and that both RRR and Brahmastra had failed to live up to expectations. Check the tweet:

RRR, directed by SS Rajamouli and starring NTR Jr., Ram Charan, and Alia Bhatt, was released in India in March 2022. The film was highly anticipated and was expected to be a major success at the box office. However, it received mixed reviews from critics and audiences, and failed to meet the high expectations that had been set for it.

Similarly, Brahmastra, directed by Ayan Mukerji and starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Amitabh Bachchan, was also expected to be a major box office success. However, the film’s release was delayed multiple times, and it finally hit theaters in December 2021 to mixed reviews and disappointing box office collections.

KRK’s comments on the box office performances of RRR and Brahmastra are not without controversy. Many fans and critics have disagreed with his assessment of the films, and have pointed out that box office collections do not necessarily reflect the quality of a film. However, KRK is known for his provocative comments and controversial opinions, and his views on these two films are unlikely to change.

Overall, while KRK’s comments on RRR and Brahmastra may be controversial, they highlight the challenges that many Indian films face in the highly competitive and ever-changing world of cinema. Whether or not these films can recover from their disappointing box office performances remains to be seen, but one thing is certain – the Indian film industry will continue to produce exciting and innovative films that captivate audiences around the world.
