Bigg Boss OTT contestant Raqesh Bapat has been grabbing a lot of eyeballs lately for his relationship with Shamita Shetty. And as we all know Raqesh’s ex-wife Riddhi Dogra is happy for him.
In a recent interview with koimoi, Raqesh talked about how supportive Riddhi was, “Of course, every time. Ridhi and I still have each other’s back, she is a very nice person. She was my army when we were together. I had no doubt that she would not support me. I even had a word with her on her birthday and I even wished her. She said I played well and was proud of me. All is good!”
He further revealed that Ridhi was glad to see him in a happy space and if someday she finds someone he will be happy for her, “I would have been the happiest if she found somebody worth it. If she’s happy then I’m really on top of the world. Because we have moved on and we have our respective lives now. We are viable to get love in our life because and there’s nothing wrong in it. I think we need to be in our happy spots someday or the other,” he said.
Raqesh and Riddhi met on the sets of Maryada. And the duo tied the knot in 2011. After being together for 8 years they announced their divorce in 2019.
Earlier, Raqesh also opened up about Shamitawhere he said that the thing they have for each other is genuine. He said, “My connection with Shamita is for sure more than what it was on the show where we met. It is more than just a connection made on the show and is not fake. One can not be a lone player in a show like Bigg Boss and so Shamita was my support system throughout the show. Luckily she chose me as her connection in the first episode and it was good to have each other’s back throughout the Bigg Boss OTT journey. You just know that there is somebody standing by you, and that is what one needs in that chaos. Bigg Boss OTT was a madhouse!”
