Ami Trivedi is a known TV and theatre actress. She was born in Mumbai in a Gujarati family. She was born in Mumbai on 12th July 1982. She was born with a father who was a theatre artist hence she was born in such an environment wherein she along with brother got roles as child artists. She did her schooling from the known school called Manav Mandir High School based in Mumbai and was seen doing well in her academics. She was seen doing her graduation from Jai Hind College, Mumbai and she was keen to pursue Medicine and once upon a time wanted to be a doctor.
She started her career in acting since her childhood and as a child artist she was seen in several acted in Hindi serials like Hamrahi and while had her cameo roles in Zee Horror Show. When she was 12 years old (in 1994), she was seen in Prakash Jha’s telefilm called Didi which talked about education of female children in the rural areas. After her 10th and 12th, she returned to work and did a number of Gujarati theatres which gave her lots of appreciation for her good performances and acting skills from the audiences. Her background for theatre helped her to get a good offer in TV channel.
Her debut in the small screen came in the form of a daily soap called Babul Ki Duwayen Leti Jaa that was aired at Zee TV. Thereafter, she was seen doing cameos and supporting roles in few shows including the movies like Kumkum- Ek Pyra Sa Bandhan and Dil Chaahta Hai. She was also seen in the TV comedy show called Khichdi which was a popular TV show produced under the banner of Hats Off Productions.She was also seen in the latest season Instant Khichdi. She also worked as dubbing artist and had given her voice to the Hindi-dubbed version of the Hindi version of the Harry Potter Series. Talking about her personal life, she got married to his longtime boyfriend Niraj Sanghai in the year 2009 the couple has a son born in 2012.
