Batla House 1st Day Box Office Collection – A Decent Grosser Response

Batla House Movie Review

Batla House 1st Day Box Office Collection

Amidst the decent buzz, the film Batla House starring John Abraham has finally hit the screens today. The film had a decent box office collection. The film is based on the real-life incident Batla House encounter carried out way back in 2008. The film added a few fictional stuff as well to boost up the entertainment value of the film but it seems that it has not gained much when compared to the other film Mission Mangal.

Had it been a solo release, the makers could have leveraged much better than the other film released on the same day. As per reports, the occupancy seemed good right from the morning shows but it did not improve in the evening as the screens also had the Akshay Kumar starrer film released the same day. So, the reports, the first-day box office collection for Batla House tolled to around 15.5 Crores.

The film is expected to get a surge in the coming first weekend, which seems to be extended one as it was released one day ahead the usual day of film release. It is expected to create a good word of mouth buzz, which will help the film to collect not less than 75 to 80 crores in the four days. Perhaps before the film completes the first week, it is likely to enter into the 100 Crore Club. The experts feel that the rival movie Mission Mangal was able to overshadow Batla House, which made all the difference. Stay tuned to know more about it and others only with us.
