Tiger 3 Advance Booking Report: Over 275,000 Tickets Sold Nationwide, Generating Rs. 8 Crores in Advance Revenue

Salman Khan, the original spy of the YRF Universe, is back in action as Tiger in his Diwali 2023 release, Tiger 3. The Maneesh Sharma directorial opened advance bookings on Saturday, and the response has been phenomenal. According to our tracking, Tiger 3 has sold an impressive 2.75 lakh tickets across India for the opening day, translating to a total collection of Rs. 8 crores.

With five days to go before its release, Tiger 3 has already amassed Rs. 8 crore at the Indian box office. While the advance booking pace is slightly slower than that of Pathaan and Jawan, it is significantly stronger than that of other Rs. 30 crore plus openers like Gadar 2, KGF 2, and Brahmastra. In fact, Tiger 3 holds the record for the highest advance booking for a post-pandemic Hindi feature film, excluding the two Shah Rukh Khan starrers.

The reason why Tiger 3 has sold more advance tickets than Jawan and Pathaan in national chains is likely due to fan club bookings. As reported by Bollywood Hungama, Shah Rukh Khan’s fan clubs, SRK Universe and SRK Warriors, played a significant role in driving advance bookings for Pathaan. Similarly, Tiger 3 has reportedly sold around 1 lakh tickets in the three national chains – PVR, Inox, and Cinepolis – for the opening day alone. This suggests that Salman Khan’s fan clubs may also be actively promoting the film.

The film is on track to record one of the biggest advance bookings of all time in national chains and that would be in spite of a release on the weakest day of film business – Diwali Day. Tiger 3 will be looking to score an advance of 3,50,000 tickets in PVR, Inox, and Cinepolis, which would be higher than Gadar 2 (2,85,000 tickets) and Brahmastra (3,03,000 tickets).
