This man is a popular singer, songwriter, composer, musician, and a talented actor, who is more known for his India’s pop band called Euphoria. He was born on 23rd September 1965. He was born in a Bengali family of doctors called Palash, which is basically a Bengali heritage from his father’s side, while from his mother’s side it was the Dogra heritage, which also groomed him. He was born in Lucknow and raised in New Delhi at the popular place called Connaught Place. His schooling was completed from the school called St. Columba’s School in Delhi. Since his childhood, he was active in the world of theatre and singing. Since then he realsied his singing and creative capabilities, however, to keep alive his family heritage, he studied medicine at the prestigious University College of Medical Sciences (UCMS), New Delhi, and then got his M.B.B.S. degree.
Right from his college days he was active in singing and cultural shows. In fact, Palash Sen alone founded his band called Euphoria during his student days. Since then he has been composing a number of songs and writing songs and other stuff in English. His very first composition was ‘Heaven on the Seventh Floor’ which he embarked during his college days written in hostel room. During his college days, he met the lady DJ Bhaduri, whom he worked with and since then she is considered to be the backbone of his band – Euphoria. The very debut release of Euphoria was ‘Dhoom Pichuck Dhoom,’ which turned out to be a big hit in the commercial world giving him recognition in the creative field garnering for him positive reviews from the critics not just from India but all across the world. Euphoria soon embarked as the biggest Indian band, which made five successful studio albums along with the one compilation and 17 different music videos.
Palash Sen career in acting for Bollywood film started with the movie called Filhaal based on surrogacy in the year 2001. It was directed by Meghna Gulzar, who is the daughter of veteran poet and filmmaker Gulzar. Since then he was seen in different movies and even TV shows. His next film was “And It Rained”and Mumbai Cutting. He then composed an eight-minute long song for the former film, and kept on perofmring for his band Euphoria. He has been involved in multiple TV shows and appearances and some of them include FameX for Channel V Popstars in 2006, MTV Rock On with his band Euphoria in the year2008, MTV Unplugged again with his band in 2011 and the one called NDTV Greenathon with his band in the year 2012.
