Parineeti Chopra & Rajkummar Rao Unite for Anurag Basu’s next film
We know Anurag Basu is gearing up for his next film which happens to be a sequel to his hit film called Life In A Metro. We have some updates on this, the reports suggest that the filmmaker has roped in the lady Parineeti Chopra opposite Rajkummar Rao who has been taken before on the board for the sequel. This is the first time when the two actors would be sharing the screen together.
Talking about the news, the filmmaker said that Pari always wanted to work with him hence when he offered the film to the lady, she was quick to accept the offer. She claims that she likes the vision and films of Anurag Kashyap and with the sequel, she is finally getting the chance to collaborate with the talented filmmaker in the B Town. Talking about the star cast, as both the actors are among the talented ones in the B Town, pairing them for a sequel would be interesting for the audience to catch.
The film Life in A Metro had an interesting star cast with Shilpa Shetty, Kangana Ranaut, Shiney Ahuja, Sharman Joshi, Irrfan Khan, Kay Kay Menon, and Konkana Sen Sharma to name a few. It talked about the complex nexus of relationships that was set against the backdrop of the modern and urban lifestyle found particularly in the corporate world. Talking about the work of Anurag Basu, he has a couple of other projects and he has worked with films like Namaste England with Arjrun Kapoor in it. Pari is also busy with her film The Girl on The Train, while Rajkummar Rao is gearing up for the film Made in China.
