Amid controversies, will Sameer Wankhede continue to supervise Aryan Khan’s drugs case? Here’s the answer!

The Aryan Khan case continues to take fresh twists and turns with each passing day. Every time the drugs on cruise case is revisited, new hidden aspects emerge. Not just Aryan Khan, but NCB’s zonal director Sameer Wankhede is also in hot water after being charged with extortion. On Wednesday, a five-member NCB team from Delhi led by deputy director Gyaneshwar Singh came in the city to record Wankhede’s testimonies, according to reports. According to the latest reports, he will continue to oversee the Aryan Khan case.

According to ANI, a senior NVB official stated that NCb’s zonal director Sameer Wankhede will continue to supervise the case of drugs seized from a cruise ship till the vigilance investigation finds something negative against him. A five-member NCB team from Delhi interrogated Wankhede for over three hours. Nothing has been found against him thus far. According to the affidavit, Prabhakar Sail, a witness in the narcotics case and K P Gosavi’s bodyguard, suggested a Rs 8 crore payoff to be made to Sameer. Sameer, though, has refuted the charges, according to reports. The Pune police have issued a watch notice for Gosavi, who is facing criminal charges.

As of now, no conclusion has been reached regarding Aryan Khan’s bail hearing. The High Court has postponed his bail hearing until today.
