Ranbir Kapoor’s much-awaited film Shamshera has finally hit the theatres. Ever since the trailer of the film was released fans were quite excited about it. Shamshera, directed by Karan Malhotra of Agneepath fame, stars Ranbir Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, and Vaani Kapoor.
It revolves around Shamshera/Balli, played by Ranbir Kapoor in his first dual role as father and son, the messiah of his tribe, which is shunned by British high-caste stooges for belonging to the lower caste. The son’s rise for his people against the British and corrupt Indian police officials like Daroga Shuddh Singh, played by Sanjay Dutt, cannot shake the father’s legacy and shame.
According to the latest reports before hitting the OTT platforms, the film has been leaked online in full HD on Tamilrockers.
Ranbir’s Shamshera has been leaked online, which is heartbreaking but not unexpected. Furthermore, the full HD version of the film has made its way online on pirated movie sites such as Tamilrockers, Movierulez, Filmyzilla, and others. What’s more disturbing is that the film was available on these pirated sites within hours of its release, raising the question of how such a coordinated network exists and where it comes from.
Shamshera also stars Ronit Roy and Saurabh Shukla, who are in fine form but are a tad underutilized.
Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor and Vaani Kapoor arrived at a theatre today to celebrate the release of the film with their fans.
